Dr. Maher graduated from Harvard University with his B.A. He then went on to earn his M.D. at the University of Alabama, graduating Summa Cum Laude. His Neurosurgery residency was completed at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He went on to complete a Complex Neurosurgery Spine Fellowship at University of Cincinnati – Mayfield Clinic and Spine Institute.
Dr. Maher was born in New York. He and his wife, Amy, have 4 lovely children. During his free time he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Crimson Tide.
